Connecting to your Onvif IP camera*

Try the following connection options in iSpy or Agent to connect to your Onvif IP camera. If an FFMPEG option is available we recommend you try that first as it will often be faster and include audio support. You can also try the VLC plugin if the FFMPEG option isn't working.
The settings for Onvif cameras are built right into our free surveillance software - click 'Add' then 'IP camera with wizard' to automatically setup your Onvif cameras. Remember to also try connecting via ONVIF as Onvif cameras may support ONVIF connections as well.
Start typing in the 'Make' box to find your camera. If your camera is not listed then click 'Get Latest List' in settings or when on the add camera wizard. If you need to modify the URL then add or edit the Onvif camera and you can modify the connection type and URL in the video source dialog (button is top of the first tab).

“DeviceManager” is free software tool which can allow you search and manage network connected devices including network cameras, digital video recorders (DVR), network video recorders (NVR). It’s compatible with Windows operating system (WINDOWS 7, WINDOWS 8, WINDOWS 10 OS), the tool support Simple-Chinese, Traditional-Chinese, English three different languages. There are many reasons why you should use this software, for instance, you forget IP address of IP camera/DVR/NVR, and want to access device’s web browser, you can use this tool to search the IP.
The tool also can help you to reset IP camera/DVR/NVR remotely when these devices are malfunction, especially for those products don’t come with reset button design. “DeviceManager” tool also can help you to modify device’s network settings (IP address, gateway, DNS), also allow you to modify password.
